La nouvelle belle.

My favorite pattern mix…florals and stripes. Loving high waisted shorts this summer and every summer. These ones are a nice length..not too short or too long. The yellow is fun and I love the look with pointy toe ankle strap heels. These shorts would also be really great with a black or white crop top. The point is to either tuck in a loosely fitted t or tank or show the waist with a crop top. I dressed up the look with a high bun and some fun but simple jewelry.

Instead of a maxi…

Summer is great for cute summer dresses and fun little skirts…but what about when it’s a bit cooler? Well that’s when people (myself included) go to the maxi skirt or dress. A nice alternative are some breezy pyjama pants! They are extremely comfortable, very breezy if the sun is out, and right on trend. They’re cool and chic and perfect to dress up or down. There’s also a variety of styles out there to suit every body type! Winners, H&M, Zara, and F21 are some stores that carry them…to name a few.

Some last few maternity photos!

Okay so here are my last few maternity photos! I didn’t get a chance to post them before because it was so close to my due date I simply was not up to it! Let’s be honest…I wasn’t up for much in those days. Every time I got a chance to get an outfit shot it was a victory.  These looks ended up being some of my favorite winter maternity looks.

Chambray and Floral

This chambray shirt is super cute with the leather details. It’s a boyfriend fit, so even though it’s non maternity it fits! Worn with a long tank underneath its great for a substitute of a blazer or cardi. Found at Express.  I am 35 weeks here.

Mommy to be…

I have taken forever to finally get a photo announcing my pregnancy!  I am 20 weeks!  So five months and two weeks.  Time really does go by fast, and yet I literally can’t wait until we get to meet our bundle of goodness.  Although…I do feel like we’ve already met since my body no longer feels like mine and I’m very aware of sharing it! 🙂

Ahhhh it’s been forever since I’ve posted…so here is this look that I am finally putting up!  I bought this kimono type blazer at H&M and couldn’t wait to incorporate it into my closet.  It’s so wearable…with jeans (as I’ve shown here), dress shorts or denim shorts, pencil skirt, or even a body con dress.
